Elcim has organized a professional two-day training course titled ""Introduction to Android Development"" at Ecole Superieure des Affaires Beirut on April 3 & 9.
A total of 11 trainees from five institutions attended the workshop, which was delivered by university professor Dr. Walid Karam.
The training comprised lectures on the Android platform and technologies as well as hands-on sessions and Lab work.
At the end of the training, attendees were awarded certificates of attendance from IRI/Elcim.
As a post-training exercise, trainees were engaged in an App development project, which will entitle them, upon successful completion, to receive a certificate of achievement.
