On Tuesday March 19, 2019 an MOU was signed between IRI/ELCIM and USEK as both parties agreed to work hand in hand for the benefit of the SMEs and industrail clusters in Lebanon.

More specifically, this MOU will cover the following:
a. Training and skill improvement in the fields of laboratory techniques, calibration of laboratory equipment and compliance with good laboratory practices
b. Promoting technical activities
c. Project management
d. General food analysis
e. Product and process development assignments
f. Food Quality Control
g. Establishment of food preservation protocols for food manufacturers
h. Channelling Industrial needs in Research Product Development towards the required expertise.
